Hi guys,
Today I have one of my favorite colors from the OPI fall collection, I am a sucker for purple nail polishes and this is beautiful and quite the change from all the dark, earthy colors. For the crystal decal I used the Born Pretty Store L045 plate and 3 color club halo hues polishes to give it that sparkly effect, it was definitely was more noticeable in real life. Hi all,
I finally was able to blog again after a short vacay and a few long work days last week. So to start the week in a positive note I have a super sparkly and fun mani to share with you. This one took me a few more steps than usual but I was really please with how it turned out, I've seen a few bloggers do the double stamping, holo on top of black and I love the dimension that it gives to the nails and how perfectly imperfect it looks. For this I used Butter London Look In as a base, it's a dark indigo creme, then I added some Chameleon Mirror Nail Glitter Powder from Born Pretty Store, I think it's the 684 shade, since I didn't use gel polish it doesn't look like a mirror but you still get the chrome like effect. As for the stamp it was made with Moyou London's Illusion 08 plate, Bundle Monster Black and Color Club Harp on it. Hi guys!!
I had different plans for my St. Patrick's Day nails but most of my stamping plates are still in moving boxes (cause I'm moving again on Sunday) so I decided to go for something simple and cute like a green holo gradient using Color Club Halo Hues in Angel Kiss and Kismet (I notice a pattern there) and also I found that super cute stamp on my Moyou London Origami 10 plate. The pattern looks like shamrocks to me so it matched the theme. For the stamp I wanted to do dark green but I didn't have any so I tried mixing MDU Black with Avocado that's why some fingers have a lighter stamp than others, not exactly what I wanted but it's still pretty (don't judge!) Hi guys!
My last mani of the year is inspired by the Ball Drop of New York City, I've never been there but I've watched it on TV and it's always such a beautiful, bright thing that I just thought it would be perfect for the occasion. The black pattern is from the Bundle Monster BM 21 plate stamped with MDU Black and colored with Color Club HAlo Hues Shades. For the glittery fingers I used a black base and Kleancolor Midnight Seduction. Hi guys, I have a fun design today, I've been wanting to find an image that would allow me to make a decal with the same background color so it would look like the colored parts where the stamp and I finally did on the Cici&Sisi 30 plate, yay!! How fun and colorful is this mani? I made the decal using MDU black for the stamp and then colored the ribbons with Color Club Halo Hues shades. The background is also black to keep the focus on the colors. Love how this looks, I'm already thinking about other stamps where I can do something similar. Have you ever tried to match the background with your stamp? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading <3 Hi guys, Today I have another cute design from my Cici & Sisi 25 plates. The more I work with the images in these plates the more I like them, they're just too much. This little bunny was made using the decal technique, the stamp was made with Kleancolor Metallic Black and then I used a few colors to paint it: NOPI Selena, NOPI Lay it on the Lime, Nubar Yellow Primrose, and Butter London Silly Billy. Base color for this accent nail is Color Club Meet me at the Rink. The squishy orange polish on my nails is Butter London Silly Billy, I only used two coats for full coverage of this gorgeous crelly and stamped the accents with MDU Bones. The little bow like stamps are actually from the same bunny image on the plate. I'm actually in love of how this design turned out, I think it would be awesome for easter next year (but I'm getting ahead of myself)
Don't forget to check out my full review on these Cici&Sisi plates here. Thank you for reading! ♥ Hi guys, I finally took the time to do my nails and create a mani I wasn't ashamed to post about haha. I've always wanted to do tropical flowers like hibiscus cause they just make you think about the beach and vacation and everything tropical, so I was going through my stamping plates and found these 2 stamps that look perfect. The plate is Cici&Sisi 15 from their yellow set which you can find here. For the base green I used Color Club Under the Blacklight stamped with MDU Spring Green. The hibiscus are decals stamped with MDU Pastel Yellow. I really like how this turned out, maybe I would use a different color for the flower stamp to make the lines more noticeable. What do you think? Thanks for reading ♥Hi!! I've been wating to do summer nails for a while to cheer the mood a bit (it's winter/rainy season where I live) but I didn't wanna go with my trusted neons so I decided to try using my nautical stamping plates for this, I love nautical themed stuff and for some reason I never try it so I hope you like this one. For this mani I used: Color Club Meet Me at The Rink as base stamped with Cici&Sisi05 and MDU Sky Blue for the waves. I stamped the nautical pattern using Moyou London Sailor 05 plate and MDU Nabu. What's your favorite pattern or theme for summer nails? Thanks for reading ♥Hi guys, I have a late afternoon post today cause inspiration eludes me. I've had this design in my head for a few weeks now and after a few failed ideas I decided to finally give it a shot. I don't drink coffee, never have and probably never will cause it gives me a migraine but I loved the design on this Cici&Sisi10 plate so I just went for it. Base color is Color Club Cherubic, and stamp is Nothing but Truffle, on my ring finger I stamped the same coffee bean design using China Glaze Passion but it's really hard to tell. I'm sad you can't see the gorgeous holo in Color Club Cherubic but the sun was hiding and refused to come out no matter how much I begged. Better luck next time I guess.
